Nutrition and mindset.
Its not just what you do, it is also what you put into your body that counts! Whether you want to lose some weight, build more muscle or simply feel healthier about yourself - nutrition is key. If you keep it simple it works the best - ask yourself a couple of simple questions!
Is this food fresh, sourced/produced recently?
Is it artificial ? That is to say would it break down naturally over a short period of time?
Is it giving me health benefits such as vitamins and minerals?
Do I need an energy source or is it a required mealtime?
There are many more questions you could ask yourself . But keep it simple.
Try not to restrict yourself by labelling food as good or bad, or what you CAN and CAN’T have - as this will make you break your rules! Unless of course you have allergies!
Our brain always craves what we are not allowing ourselves to have.
It is a negative start to any diet plan to restrict ourselves, allow yourself to say you CAN have something ( from your restricted list) but you CHOOSE not to have it as you are looking after your body! Think of your nutrition plan as your friend not foe. Nutrition is our fuel and the better the quality, such as freshness, the more effectively the body will work!
