Positive Motivation
Are you guilty of allowing the voice in your head talk to you in a negative way, more than you should?
We all have those times when the negative person in our head tells us we cannot do it or we are not good enough! But ask yourself, is this helpful?
Is this stopping you from starting a new project or healthy habit. Is the voice controlling you?
If you think the inner voice or critic is taking over and making you unhappy - then ask yourself a simple question ‘‘ Would I allow a friend or colleague to talk to me in this way?”
I am sure you would not stand near or tolerate a person that keeps telling you “" You are no good at it” or" You will never be accepted!’’
Instead tell the voice, each time it returns - “"Go away you are not being helpful and come back when you have something positive or useful to say!”"
This may help you keep positive and focused, whatever your goals may be!
