So, post exercise we normally all run off , get changed or showered , right? Well this is great if we have stretched! Giving your body a chance to stretch and relax post exercise is essential for repair and performance. If we constantly keep bashing our bodies with HIT or Cardio and do not give ourselves a chance to stretch and release all the muscle fibres we get rigid and break! We can become too tight and that is when the accidents and injuries happen. Try to build a stretching workout into your weekly routine, whether it is yoga or Pilates based not only will your body thank you but also your emotions. The answer is balance - Yin and Yang!
